Hi, I'm Lucy I'm 25 and live in Brighton, UK with my fiancee Sam and 4 very spoiled cats. We bought our first home together in October 2010 and have been working very hard (and learning a lot) ever since to turn it into a home.
For the first time ever, I (we) have a garden to call my (our) own and I love growing and then cooking and eating my own food. In 2011 my New Year's resolution was to eat something fresh from the garden every month, starting from the first harvest. That first harvest (lettuce) was picked in April 2011 and since then, so far, so good.
I also love making things for the house and turning tired old things into lovely new things and I'm always on the hunt for ideas and inspiration for new crafts and things to make. Hopefully some of my projects will help to inspire you too.
